Free Unlimited WiFi
The cottage has fast unlimited broadband access to the Internet. The wi-fi router reaches throughout the building and is also linked to the smart TV in the living room.
DVD Player
The DVD player is linked to the TV. There is a selection of DVD films to suite a range of tastes!
Smart TV
The Smart TV links to the wi-fi and gives access to a wide range of entertainment services. If you have a Netflix, NOW TV or other account you can view your favourite programmes. You can play any downloaded programmes from your computers through the TV.
The TV also has access to all the terrestrial stations.
Parking
Guests can park anywhere along the harbour front. There are no parking restrictions. There is also a car park behind the lighthouse. Moir Cottage is the only building along South Crescent where cars can’t obscure the view from the ground floor as there is a curb that prohibits parking.
Well-Equipped Kitchen
The kitchen is large and well-equipped.
All-electric oven and hob, large fridge and freezer, microwave etc.
Washing Machine / Dryer
The washing machine is in the kitchen. It has a dryer function. There is a drying line outside the kitchen.
Bathrooms
There are two bathrooms on the ground floor. Both have walk-in showers. The larger bathroom also has a full-sized bath.
Check-in & Check-out
Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. During normal times, the cottage is available from 2pm on the Saturday of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the Saturday of departure. This allows us time to have it checked and cleaned before the next visitors arrive.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings must be paid for in full at least one month prior to the booking date. Cancellations made at least two months prior to booking date are refunded in full.
House Rules
Non-smoking: the cottage is non-smoking.
Pets: we are sure your dog is the best behaved in the world, but we now don’t allow pets.
